Objectives of zeilklippers.nl
The “zeilklippers.nl” collective has existed for more than 25 years. Many ways of working have grown over the years that it functions. First year: 7 members; second year: 18 members, third year: 32 members, fourth year: 38 members, fifth year: 42 members, sixth year: 47 members, eighth year: 51 members, ninth year 55 members.

New skippers are welcome, the more ships; the stronger the whole works. We are now side by side with about 30 vessels. Dues are used for advertising to direct people to our site. Most of the budget is spent on the internet to make the website easy to find.

Here are the main points of interest.

– Making the independent skipper findable.
– Advertise a lot together at low cost per ship.
– Promote collegiality; refer customers to each other.
– Promote competition (preferably in the quality of the ship and the range, not in the price).
– Counteract the dominant and decisive market position of charter offices.
– Wide range of ships for hire to groups as well as individuals; agreements with the customer are made directly by the skipper.
– Advertise sailing trips abroad (= sea sailing).

How does it work?
All potential customers who enter the portal make their own selection from the links to one of the participating ships. The skipper otherwise handles the creation of the booking himself.
