Welcome aboard the Vriendschap. This beautiful clipper is waiting for you in the harbour of Monnickendam.

The Vriendschap has been tastefully converted into a day trip ship for up to 75 people. There is no longer any sleeping accommodation on board, so that all the space below deck is available for our guests during the day.

Take a seat at the large wooden dining tables or in the cosy lounge area by the authentic oil stove. The bar is also very cosy, with large portholes at water level offering a view of the water and sometimes even below the waterline. The sanitary facilities are spacious, with separate toilets for ladies and gentlemen. Finally, there is a large kitchen where all dishes are freshly prepared.

Sailing can be as active or relaxed as you wish. Enthusiasts are welcome to help with all activities on deck.

You are also in good hands with us when it comes to food and drink. A background in hotel management and a love of good, tasty food ensure that everything is prepared fresh and with great creativity in our own galley.

The possibilities are endless. From a whole day on the water to a break ashore in one of the charming harbours in our sailing area.

From company outings to family celebrations, we are happy to organise it for you, with input and flexibility being our top priorities.

Finally, the Vriendschap has been an official wedding venue in the municipality of Waterland for many years.
